Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the My Plant Room mobile application (“App”) operated by Adam Tardy (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The Game
My Plant Room is an idle clicker mobile game where you grow virtual plants, collect items, and customize your room. The game is free to download and play, with optional in-app purchases.
2. Account & Eligibility
- You must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In to save your progress
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account
- One account per person; creating multiple accounts to exploit game mechanics is prohibited
3. In-App Purchases
3.1 Premium Currency (Gems)
- Gems are a virtual currency purchased with real money through the Apple App Store
- Gem prices are displayed in your local currency before purchase
- All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms of service
3.2 Refunds
- Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process
- We do not process refunds directly
3.3 No Real-World Value
- All virtual items (gems, SAP, plants, pots, furniture, boosts) exist only within the App
- Virtual items have no real-world monetary value
- Virtual items cannot be traded, sold, gifted, or transferred to other users or outside the App
- We reserve the right to modify virtual item values, prices, and availability at any time
4. Randomized Items (Chests / Loot Boxes)
4.1 How Chests Work
- The App contains chests (loot boxes) that award randomized virtual items
- Chests can be purchased with SAP (earned through gameplay) or gems (purchased with real money)
- Each chest tier has fixed drop probabilities that determine the items you receive
- Drop probabilities are not personalized and are the same for all players
4.2 Acknowledgment
By purchasing or opening chests, you acknowledge that:
- The contents are randomized — specific items are not guaranteed
- You may receive duplicate items you already own
- The perceived value of items received may vary
- You accept the randomized nature of chest rewards before each purchase/opening
4.3 No Gambling
Chests are not gambling. They do not involve wagering, there is no cash-out mechanism, and virtual items cannot be converted to real-world value. Chests are a game mechanic for content distribution.
5. Game Rules & Fair Play
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, hacks, bots, or unauthorized third-party software
- Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage (please report them via Feedback in Settings)
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Interfere with the App’s servers or infrastructure
- Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
Violation may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
6. Virtual Plant Death
- Plants in the game can permanently die if their health reaches zero
- Dead plants are removed from your room and cannot be recovered without using gems (revive feature)
- The game sends notifications to warn you about declining plant health, but it is your responsibility to maintain your plants
- We are not liable for virtual plant death due to inactivity, app crashes, or server issues
7. Game Economy & Balance Changes
We reserve the right to modify at any time:
- Currency earning rates (SAP per tap, health decay, etc.)
- Item prices (chest costs, expansion costs, leaf costs)
- Drop probabilities and chest contents
- Boost durations and effects
- New features, content, and mechanics
We will endeavor to communicate significant balance changes, but are not obligated to provide advance notice.
8. Content Updates
- Game content (plants, furniture, pots, paintings) may be added, modified, or removed via server-side updates
- The App periodically syncs with our servers to receive content updates
- An internet connection is required for syncing, purchases, and cloud saves
- Offline gameplay is supported with locally cached data
9. User Content
9.1 Feedback
- Feedback submitted through Settings is voluntary
- By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use your suggestions to improve the App
- We are not obligated to implement any feedback received
10. Intellectual Property
- The App, including all artwork, code, music, sound effects, and game design, is owned by Adam Tardy
- The watercolor art style, plant designs, and game mechanics are protected by copyright
- Painting reproductions featured in the game (e.g., Van Gogh, Monet) are in the public domain
- You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App’s content
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of virtual items, game progress, or data.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
- You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time
- We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and virtual items may be forfeited
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
